据外媒《好莱坞报道者》报道，流行天后麦当娜的传记片《金发野心》选角正在进行中，目前已曝光多位候选人，从艾美奖获奖者到奥斯卡提名者，再到歌手转演员艺人，角逐非常激烈。
曝光的试镜人员包括朱莉娅-加纳(Julia Garner)、弗洛伦丝-皮尤(Florence Pugh)、亚历克萨-德米(Alexa Demie )、奥黛莎-杨(Odessa Young ) 、艾玛-莱尔德(Emma Laird )、西德妮-斯威尼(Sydney Sweeney，歌星碧碧-雷克萨(Bebe Rexha)和斯凯-费雷拉(Sky Ferreira)等也都参与了试镜。
据悉，选角工作已经进行了几个月，并且非常艰难。有望最终出演的人选需要每天进行长达11小时的编舞课程，由麦当娜的编舞师及麦当娜本人亲自教授，并且与麦当娜一起读剧本、进行歌唱试镜。麦当娜表示“我想传达生活带给我的不可思议旅程，作为一位艺术家、音乐家、舞者试图在这个世界上取得成功的经历。”
《金发野心》由环球影业负责发行，麦当娜亲自执导、制片，她也将与迪亚波罗-科蒂一起创作剧本。该视频讲述了1980年代初到纽约发展的麦当娜，如何在当时歧视女性的行业环境里挣扎，直到发行第一张专辑，以及如何面对突至的名声和爱情生活之间的矛盾。
“这部视频的中心始终是音乐，音乐让我不断前进，艺术让我保持生机。我有许多不为人知却能鼓舞人心的故事，没有谁比我更适合讲述，也应该用我的声音与视角来讲述。”内部消息透露，目前准备运作这个项目的负责人们十分看好英国女演员Florence Pugh。据英国媒体报道，麦姐对这位年仅25岁的姑娘非常满意。
