作为一个女儿，许多故事之前我是略知一二。，作者将这些关于信任、对上帝的信仰，以及从主耶稣的眼中，看待他所接触到的每一个人的这些片段串连起来，让我们能够了解到，这些点点滴滴如何融贯在一个整体的故事里。每一个个人的无限价值是基本重点的所在，而我父亲的生活与工作，正是建立在这个基础之上。
书中有些艰苦辛酸的故事，我其实都不曾知晓，只因为这些事情对我父亲而言，是不足挂齿的。他有一种往前看的能力，总是寻找新的机会，在一扇门关上的时候找到另一扇开着的门；绝不会沉溺在痛苦与怨怼之中。对我而言，感触最深刻的，莫过于得知那些对人们有深刻影响的事情，往往都是父亲在人们的眼中看到需求时，不计后果采取行动所达成的。或许，这就是我们需要向他学习的地方啊！
我很欣慰书中呈现了我父亲的真实面目，包括了他的弱点；这些在书中所描述的许多情节中皆可见到。我也知道，我的父亲致力奉献；，他也每日晨祷，一直以来他就这样以上帝要求的标准来砥砺自己，而这也是他每天获取力量的来源。

He has an ability to look ahead

I am very grateful for the book that has been written about my father. First of all, we are grateful to Jenny and Steve Chang for making the book project possible through their generous sponsoring.
Being his daughter, I know many of the stories from previously, but the author has made it possible to understand how all the pieces fit together in a story about trust, faith in God and looking at each individual person he encounters with the eyes of our Lord Jesus. The infinite value of each individual person is a fundamental issue, and also the basis on which he has built his life and work.
Many of the stories about hardship and difficulties have been unknown to me, simply because these things have not been important to my father, he has an ability to look ahead, for new opportunities, new doors opening up when other doors close, instead of ending up in bitterness and resentment.
To me it has also been striking to see how the stories that have made the deepest impact on people, are those where my father has acted more or less on impulse, because he has seen the need in the eyes of the individual- maybe this is something many of us can learn from.
I appreciate the book showing a realistic picture of my father, including his shortcomings, which enables us to identify with many of the situations that are described in the book. I also know that my father spends time in devotion and prayer every morning, and this is where he corrects his life against the standards of God, and where he receives strength for each day.
